A variety of attractive programming
Brazil has seven network television broadcasters and the majority of them have affiliates or re-broadcasters the state of Rio de Janeiro’s main cities. There are also four paid T.V. broadcasters (one cable and three satellite), with more than 200 channels.
In terms of programs, visitors have access to a full schedule of news, movies, music concerts, evening soap operas, documentaries, comedy and variety shows, interviews and debates.
The state of Rio de Janeiro also has more than 200 radio broadcasters on AM and FM, with news, music and variety shows. You will also find nationally distributed newspapers and more than 120 periodicals which are distributed to the state’s 92 cities.
